Armenia’s ruling party lacks intrigues, RPA states

Head of the ruling Republican Party of Armenian parliamentary group Galust Sahakyan commented on rumors concerning possible resignation of the Armenian Prime Minister and appointment of RA NA speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to his post.

These rumors are not “serious political processes,” Sahakyan told a briefing in the Armenian parliament.

Tigran Sargsyan made a joke, saying he has offered his post to the parliament speaker, according Sahakyan.

He added that the Prime Minister is not tired of his post.

“Members of our political team estimate highly the role they play in the country’s political life. There are not any intrigues in our party,” concluded Sahakyan.
