Armenia’s Edgar Gevorgyan (under 85kg) finished 7th lifting 350kg in the snatch and clean & jerk at the European Weightlifting Championships. Russia’s Alexei Yufkin won gold lifting 385kg.

Gevorg Poghosyan (94kg), Artur Babayan (105kg) will join the competition on April 16.

Armenian men’s team currently has 4 medals – one gold, two silver and one bronze. Elen Grigoryan won silver for the women’s team.
