Yerevan Sports and Concert Complex hosts the final bouts of Gagik Tsarukyan international boxing tournament.

European champion Hovhannes Danielyan and world youth champion Koryun Soghomoynan clashed in the 46-49 kg finals. The bout ended 22-28 to Soghomonyan’s favor.

Derenik Gizhlaryan (52kg) won 11-10 victory over Yasurbek Latipov (Uzbekistan) while Hovhannes Bochkov (under 56kg) beat Aram Avagyan 29-22.

European champion, bronze winner at Beijing Olympic Games won the title of the winner without fighting, as his Czech rival withdrew because of an injury.
