Georgian opposition accuses Interior Minister of secret meeting with Russian counterpart

Political secretary of the opposition Labor Party of Georgia Giorgi Gugava said that the Russian and Georgian Interior Ministers had a secret meeting in Armenia on April 16.

According to Gugava, “probably, the two ministers reached an anti-state deal on transfer of Georgia’s strategic sites to Russia.

The party demanded from the Georgian Ministry of Interior Affairs (MIA) that it publish details of negotiations, threatening with protest actions.

The Georgian MIA has not commented on the reports, according to Vzglyad paper.
