From the age of sixteen Ara Hadjian has been drumming, singing and during the 70s one of the four fabulous members of the successful band THE NEWS.

THE NEWS was the best rock band of the Middle-East in the 70s decade. They had more than 10 hit records in Beirut and other countries. THE NEWS were also very successful in the UK in 1970 - 71.

With their manager H. Hathaway of Satril management, in London THE NEWS were an acknowledged underground band to combine Armenian folklore music with metal and hard rock, they were the first band who did that in history.

Now, Ara has released a self-titled solo hard rock album to tour in Europe (Stockholm, Sweden), and the next date when he rocks the house will be on June 12 at the Key Club in Hollywood, California, according to mi2n.
