Dprotsaser French school students visit Artsakh

On April 22, Foreign Minister of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Georgy Petrossian met with a delegation from France headed by French MP, Mayor of Alfortville city Rene Rouquet.

Greeting the guests, Georgy Petrossian stressed the importance of the visit in gaining better idea of NKR realities and their objective introduction to the European community.

The guests noted the main goal of their visit was to familiarize pupils of Dprotsaser French classical school with the region.

As Mr. Rouquet stressed, for 20 years of its independence, Nagorno Karabakh has managed to achieve much in the spheres of state building, civil society development, and post-war rehabilitation. Vice-Mayor of Alfortville Richard Ananian and other delegation members expressed their readiness for further support for the Artsakh people's aspirations.

The NKR Foreign Minister briefed the guests on the basic stages of the Karabakh National-Liberation Movement and state building, noting that the Republic had passed from the stage of rehabilitation to that of development, due to implementation of a strategic program.

Georgy Petrossian thanked French delegation members for their support in fair settlement of the Karabakh issue, NKR Foreign Ministry press service reported.
