Yerevan hosed ARF Dashnaktsutyun-organized traditional torchlight procession. The procession started at Aram Khachaturian monument. Action participants marched to Tsitsernakaberd monument, demanding recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide, as well as restoration of historic justice.

Action participants burned a Turkish flag to protest Turkey’s denial of the fact of the Genocide. The burning flag provided fire for torches to be lit.

The rally included over 10000 participants.

For the first time, representatives of Armenia’s national minorities participated in the action held for the 12th time.
