Georgia’s Armenian community held a protest rally in front of Turkish Embassy in Tbilisi. Rally participants demanded recognition of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire, expressing protest against Turkish policy of Genocide negation.

Recently, Georgia’s Armenian community addressed the president and parliament of Georgia with a request to discuss the issue of the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. The letters with a request to initiate a draft law were sent to the country’s president, heads of parliamentary groups, as well as Georgian MPs of Armenian origin.
