On April 27, at around 01:20-02:00pm local time, unknown persons perpetrated an armed attack on GAZ-24 car, which was transporting salary of policemen.

The incident took place in Avan district of Yerevan. The attackers have escaped, meeting with resistance of law enforcers.

A PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported from the scene that, according to eyewitnesses, the attackers opened fire, as a result of which the car exploded. According to preliminary data, one person was killed.
