The change of the policy of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) are meant to attracts more supporters, according to director of the Yerevan-based Caucasus Institute.
“The ANC can anytime reverse to its previous hard line if the new strategy fails,” Alexander Iskandaryan told a press conference on April 28.
As he noted, Armenia gave a “false start” to election campaign. “There will be one or two ANC rallies before a summer gap. The political struggle will intensify in autumn,” Iskandaryan said.
