Tigran Sargsyan: students paying for their grades guilty of promoting corruption

On May 4, Yerevan State University (YSU) hosted another meeting between the University students and Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The effectiveness of an anti-corruption struggle was on discussion agenda.

The Prime Minister urged to intensify anti-corruption struggle, noting that the students who’re ready to pay for his grade instead of studying for it are themselves to blame for promoting corruption.

The YSU students’ council members, in turn, shared their approach to reducing corruption at universities by introducing amendments to HR policy as well as improving student – professor relations.
