Ex-champion Nikolai Valuev’s former coach Manvel Gabrielyan said that Arthur Abraham should change his technique and tactics.

“Naturally, I will be a fan of Abraham in his fight with Andre Ward, though I did not like him recently. He lacks technique. Abraham’s coach Uli Wegner is my friend and he has got all that is needed, but Abraham does not change, maybe he lacks diligence. Discipline is important during trainings,” Gabrielyan said in an interview with allboxing.ru.

Abraham is set to take on WBA Super-Middleweight Champion Andre Ward in the semi-finals at the Home Depot Center in Carson on May 14.
