World Youth Weightlifting Championship will kick of in Lima, Peru on May 10.

Armenian weightlifting team to participate in the championship includes the following sportsmen: Zhorzh Yeghikyan (56 kg), Andranik Karapetyan (62 kg), Vardan Militosyan and Razmik Ortetsyan (69 kg), Mher Mikaelyan (85 kg), Mher Poghosyan (94 kg), and bronze medallist of the first youth Olympics Gor Minasyan (+ 94 kg).

Zhorzh Yeghikyan will be the first member of the Armenian team to perform on May 10.
