Turkologist Levon Hovsepyan has said Turkey’s militarization is a menace for Armenia and a headache for Europe.

As Hovsepyan told a press conference in Yerevan, Turkey will try to gain maximum benefits from any regional development. “Ankara is dangerous. This is proved by the fact that during the 2008 Russian-Georgian conflict Turkey was the second country, which supplied arms to Georgia.”

“Besides, with its militarization, Turkey encourages Azerbaijan’s warlike statements,” he said.

He supposes that Baku has also chosen Turkey’s model, trying to obtain skills in weapon production along with developing their own defense industry.
