David Nalbandian climbs to 22nd position in ATP rankings

Argentina’s David Nalbandian climbed 2 positions to find himself 22nd with 1,425 points in the men’s tennis rankings released by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) on May 16, 2011.

After two surgeries, Nalbandian will return to the Tour at the Queen's Club tournament in England, which starts on June 6. He will also join Argentina to rival Kazakhstan in the group quarterfinals of the Davis Cup.

Novak Djokovic (Serbia) is only 405 points behind Spaniard Rafael Nadal, who continues to top the rankings with 12,070 points. Roger Federer (Switzerland) is the third with 8,390 points.
