On May 18, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek.

As the Armenian President stressed at the meeting, active dialogue with the representatives of the European structures give a positive impulse to Eurointegration process in Armenia. According to Mr. Buzek, Europe believes in the success of reforms in Armenia.

As President Sargsyan noted, Armenia intends to continue reforms in the country based on the experience and support of the EU.

The parties emphasized the importance of Armenia-EP cooperation, Armenian President noting collaboration with the EU to be one of the main priorities in Armenia's foreign policy.

As the EP President noted, Armenia's history was always tied to that of Europe. “Armenia has always been a part of Europe,” he said, presidential press service reported.
