ARMENIA'S ENTRANCE TO CE WILL PROMOTE ITS INTEGRATION INTO EUROPEAN COMMUNITY
24.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Armenia's accession to the Council of Europe will become the first step on the path of integration into the common European family, head of "Self-determination" Union Nerses Zeinalvandian stated today at a press conference in Yerevan. He noted that in future Armenia will strive to become also a member of the European Union.
The head of the Union said that for the achievement of goals both the state bodies and parties must carry out a research work. "Only this way full integration can be achieved, and the primary role will belong to the parties," he stressed. According to Zeinalvandian, the headed by him party of right-wing trend has found the support of the president and Foreign Ministry of Armenia in this matter. -0-
