Armenian Minister of Energy Armen Movsisyan said there is nothing alarming in the inspection of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). “The Armenian nuclear power plant (NPP) operates normally. Similar international inspections are carried out 2-3 times a year,” Movsisyan said.

IAEA will finish their studies at Metsamor NPP in two weeks, after which they will give a press conference.

A commission of the IAEA Operational Safety Review Team arrived in Armenia a week ago to thoroughly study the NPP’s safety.
