From 2012, Azerbaijan will fully provide its Armed Forces with large-scale military supplies, Minister of Defense Industry Yaver Jamalov stated.

According to Jamalov, at present, all armaments for 5.45mm-30mm caliber bullets, as well as mine throwers and grenade throwers are produced at the ministry’s enterprises.

“From this year, we have started production of 85 mm-155 mm armaments. We will provide the army with these armaments from the end of 2012,” the minister added.

Jamalov also said the ministry was planning $18 mln export, APA reported.
