Ameriabank's team won the international Online Bank Management Contest – Europe 2011, held among European banks.

The competition was organized by SimArc NV, NY Institute of Finance jointly with the World Savings Banks Institute and the European Savings Banks Group.

According to Ameriabank's Development Director Tigran Jrbashyan, bank’s experts managed to find solutions to the tasks on virtual bank management model development in crisis conditions, leaving behind the leading groups of specialists representing ING, Dexia and CSOB.

Jrbashyan informed that the contest was conducted for 5 areas: Europe, Northern and Southern Americas, Asia and Africa. The winners will represent Europe in New York at the final stage of the contest this year.

“First of all the victory will grant us recognition at the world market, promoting success and realization of strategic programs,” he said and added that winning such an important competition will help improve the group's possibilities and skills both for the Armenian and international market.

“It will also increase Armenia's recognizability in the international banking sector,” he concluded.
