Armenian government will allocate credit proceeds to secure consultations in special cases only

Armenian government will be allocating credit proceeds to secure consultations only in special and well-founded cases, according to Armenian Prime Minister.

As Tigran Sargsyan stated in parliament, a monitoring of credit proceeds expenditures discovered that in 2006, Armenia addressed to World Bank for a consultation, the results of which were never used. Besides, there were specialists in Armenian government, capable of performing a consultation on a similar scale, which would save hundreds of thousands dollars.

“In future, all suggestions of securing a consultation at the expense of credit proceeds will be carefully considered by Prime Minister himself,” Sargsyan said.
