Prime Minister: I know many ARFD members who confess to secretly agreeing with me

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan takes ARF Dashnaktsutyun-submitted vote of no-confidence against the government in its stride. As the Prime Minister remarked, “this is the method of a political struggle our colleagues have opted for. The step aims at boosting their party’s authority on the eve of the elections to secure necessary votes. I urge to take this method of a civilized struggle in its stride.”

Dwelling on the fact that the suggestion of non-confidence vote was supported by 10 parliamentarians while 13 of them voted against it, Sargsyan noted that most probablyy the issue aroused no serious interest among the MPs.

In response to the assumption that many MPs who supported the non-confidence vote eventually resolved to for against it, the Prime Minister noted, “I know many ARFD members who confess to secretly agreeing with me.”
