Flickr saves deleted photos for more 90 days

Flickr changed and updated its data policy allowing users’ deleted photos to be saved for 90 days after they click the delete button, Geek.com reported.

Most Flickr users have been in the position where they’ve deleted a photo or a set of photos and then regretted it a few days later. The new update will also store metadata, comments, and “all the bits of an account,” after something is deleted, according to Flickr.

The data won’t be available to anyone publicly, however, Flickr stores it on its servers in case user have a change of heart and actually do want those photos back. After about three months, Flickr deletes it permanently.

Flickr is resource for hosting tons of personal photos.
