Within the next few days, Armenian National Congress (ANC) will determine composition of its delegation for negotiations with the authorities, ANC leader stated.

As Levon Ter-Petrossian noted during ANC rally, the delegation’s agenda will include snap presidential and parliamentary elections in Armenia, with the authorities expected to present their own agenda.

ANC leader compared recent events in Armenia to those in Arab states, where the people’s movement induced the authorities into conducting snap elections. “Yet, we aim to achieve our goals in constitutional way, rather than by bloodshed,” Ter-Petrossian said.

As he further noted, the rallies will continue throughout the process of negotiations, with rally participants to be briefed on the course of talks.

According to ANC leader, the next rally is due in June, with the exact date to be announced later.
