Correlation of forces between Armenia and Azerbaijan is becoming increasingly balanced, according to the deputy director of Caucasus Institute.As political expert Sergey Minasyan told a news conference in Yerevan, Armenia’s acquisition of new military equipment reduces the possibility of a new war in Karabakh.
As the expert noted, Azerbaijan realizes that in current situation only two options are possible: accepting basic principles for Karabakh conflict settlement or removal of snipers from the line of contact to reduce tension.
