June 13 marks the 19th anniversary of the Shahumyan region occupation by Azerbaijan.

“That day was the most tragic one in the history of Shahumyan. Armenians resisted but the enemy outnumbered,” chairman of Shahumyan-Getashen expatriates' union Edik Balayan told a press conference in Yerevan.

“As a result, 21000 Armenian refugees remained homeless,” he said.
