There is no alternative to a peaceful resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh problem, Sweden’s Foreign Minister said.

“To find a solution, both sides must compromise,” Carl Bildt told a press conference in Yerevan. “Besides, measures should be taken to alleviate tension and strengthen trust in the conflict zone, as I already said during my visit to Baku.”

The Swedish Minister voiced hope that the sides will be able to reach an agreement in the near future.
