Armenia and Azerbaijan did not discuss possibility of deployment of peacekeepers in Nagorno Karabakh, Armenian Foreign Minister said.

“Issues concerning deployment of peacekeeping forces in Karabakh have not been discussed over the past 3 years. Thus, no agreement can be reached on an issue that has not been discussed,” Edward Nalbandian told a press conference in Yerevan.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijan continuously assures that deployment of peacekeepers is one of the items on the negotiations agenda. As Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said recently, “the issue demands extra discussions.”
