In 2011, price increase for vacations in Antalya and Batumi was observed, the head of Armenian Hotels Association Hakob Hakobyan stated, advising to spend holidays in Armenia.

As he told a news conference in Yerevan, while a week-long vacation in Turkey or Batumi for a family of 4 will cost USD 3-4000, vacations in Armenia will cost under USD 1200.

“In New Year season, Yerevan hotels affiliated with Armenian Hotels Association will offer a 50% discount,” he said.
