New format for Baze youth festival 2011 envisaged

Baze youth festival 2011 will be held in 2 stages and have a new format, Armenian Youth Fund board of trustees member, Armenian parliamentarian Karen Avagyan stated.

As he told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the major event will host 1200-1300 participants from Armenia and Diaspora, as well as representatives of Armenia's national minorities. “We'll send invitations to Heritage opposition party as well as Armenian National Congress, as we did last year, in hopes they'll participate in the event,” he stressed, adding, “our main goal lies in unification of youth.”

During the first stage of the event, Baze camp will be formed in Armenian town of Byurakan, with walking tours and contests organised in the framework of the initiative. The, second stage, annual Baze gathering is to be held in Tsakhkadzor in mid-August.
