Zoran Begović, the Montenegrin Assistant Minister of Interior for Civil Security and Emergency Management and Armen Yeritsyan, the Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Interior for Civil Security and Emergency Management of Montenegro and the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The MoU commits both parties to improved bilateral cooperation on the prevention and management of emergency situations, including the exchange of technical information and lessons learned from experience dealing with actual emergencies, Daily News Montenegro reported.

The MoU follows a similar agreement between Montenegro and Italy which was penned in May.
