At June 17 sitting, Armenian government confirmed an agreement on joint usage of Meghri-Nurduz frontier check point with Iranian government.The agreement aims to intensify cooperation through joint use of the checkpoint, enabling international passenger and cargo transportation, as well as transmission of vehicles.

The initiative was prompted by the increasing transport and product turnover between the countries, which, in turn, will require facilitation of customs procedures.
