Armenian fencers, representing fencers' club "Cathrin", gained 1gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals in Georgia-hosted international youth fencing tournament.

Female fencer Arpine Atoyan won gold in rapier discipline.

According to Armenian Fencing Federation secretary general Artashes Madoyan, the number of awards testifies to excellent training of Armenian sportsmen, who were much younger than the rest of the participants.

International youth fencing championship in Kutaisi, Georgia hosted participants from Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
