The Tbilisi City Court has sentenced the Russian army officer, Yevgeny Borisov, to 30 years in jail in absentia over charges of collaboration with terrorists who carried out a series of attacks in Georgia in 2009-2010.

Borisov is currently on the international wanted list. Besides him, the court found 14 other people guilty of terrorism and sentenced them to 15 and up to 30 years in prison, too.

Moscow has described the news as “another provocation of the Georgian regime”, The Voice of Russia reported.
