VivaCell-MTS and Yerevan State Medical University announced the launch of Mobile-Health Solution pilot program on the sidelines of the 3rd international medical convention.

As VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian told a news conference in Yerevan, Mobile-Health innovative solution, based on Ericsson M-Health wireless technologies is aimed at creating a new improved means to provide population with better access to health care services.

The M-Health is most commonly used in reference to using mobile communication devices, such as mobile phones in health care services provision. For the first time in Armenia, VivaCell-MTS has made the Mobile Health solution available to the medical body in the country. The solution enables distance monitoring of patients’ health condition by their doctors. Patients will be able to conduct medical measurements at home and instantly send health-related data remotely via VivaCell-MTS network to their doctors for monitoring using special mobile health equipment.

Together with the Yerevan Medical State University, the mobile health equipment will launched in September as a pilot project.
