On July 8, All Ukrainian exhibition of Fine Art of the Ukrainian ethnos called 'Vivat, Ukraine!' opened in the National Museum of Literature of Ukraine.

It is noteworthy that alongside with the works of famous painters, such as G.Ruff, G.Gold, I.Vorkhov, R.Bagautdinov etc., young artists such as Svetlana Gavrilenko, Olga Teuta, Suleyman Erejepov, Astghik Manukyan and others demonstrate their art as well.

The works of sculptors V.Medvedev, N.Medvedev and S.Tigranyan supplement the exposition.

The exhibition aims at popularization of the Ukrainian ethnos, acknowledgement of cultural diversity in the country, enhancement of understanding and improvement of situation for coexistence of people belonging to different cultures being an integral part of the Ukrainian state value. The exhibition will last till July 18, according to Analitika.at.ua.

According to independent media outlets, there are over 450 thousand Armenians in the Ukraine; Armenian Diaspora bore such outstanding people as Ivan (Hovhannes) Ayvaovsky and Sergey Parajanov who praised the Ukrainian land alongside with Taras Shevchenko.

Outstanding Armenian contemporaries are film director Roman Balayan, solo singer of the Ukrainian National Opera Susanna Chakhoyan, painter Boris Yeghiazaryan and others.
