Orinats Yerkir: coalition won’t discuss snap elections with opposition

Orunats Yerkir has selected members to represent the party at talks with the Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc.

“Mher Shahgeldyan and Khachik Harutyunyan will be the party representatives,” MP Heghine Bisharyan told journalists in Yerevan on July 11. “The first meeting will take place within next 10 days. The issues to be discussed are not known yet, however, it’s obvious that the ANC speak of extraordinary elections, what is unacceptable.”

“There no premises for early elections in the country,” she stated.

Last week, Armenian President’s spokesman Armen Arzumanyan announced that the coalition forces formed a group consisting of 2 members from each party to negotiate with the opposition.
