Baku expects some ‘serious document’ from OSCE MG

It is expected that co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group will arrive in the region with a definite serious document, said Deputy Executive Secretary of Yeni Azerbaijan ruling Party (YAP), Azeri Parliament member Mubariz Gurbanly.

“I suppose that this time co-chairs will come with a certain serious document for the regular meeting between the Presidents, and if presented, discussions connected with it will be held,” Trends quotes Gurbanly as saying.

The goal of the expected arrival of co-chairs will be preparations for next regular meeting between Presidents, according to the YAP Deputy Executive Secretary.

“During the co-chairs’ visit discussions will be carried out connected with the situation after Kazan summit and a document presented at Kazan meeting and parties positions on the document,” Gurbanly said.

“I think issues connected with the conflict settlement are in serious progress, which will have certain results,” Azerbaijani MP said.

The summit between Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in Kazan on June 24 completed without an agreement on basic principles of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. Later on Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbanian noted that no agreement was reached during the meeting, as the Azerbaijani leader attempted to impose 10 new proposals.
