2nd South Park game coming to Xbox 360

Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman (characters of South Park) are on their way back to the Xbox 360. 345 Games, the gaming arm of Comedy Central, has confirmed that a second South Park game is in development, according to Cinemablend.

”Right now, South Park is actually in a first-party deal with Microsoft Studios, who published the first game, and they're doing a second game as well," said 345 Games creative director Prithvi Virasinghe. "After that, that first-party exclusivity window expires, and we get a shot of taking that back.”

The first game created under Comedy Central and Microsoft's agreement was South Park “Let’s Go Tower Defense Play” It was released through Xbox Live Arcade in 2009

As a licensed XBLA release, South Park Let’s Go Tower Defense Play surprises and entertains, making it well-deserving of any gamer’s time and money.

“Tower Defense Play” was developed by Doublesix. The Guildford-based studio went on to create “Burn Zombie Burn”, a top-down, arena-based shooter in which your objective is to kill as many zombies as possible before dying. It's unclear what their next project is.

Considering the strong reviews of “Tower Defense Play”, Doublesix would be hired for the second SP game as well.
