In the 8th tour of Villa de Benasque International Chess Open, tournament leader Tigran Petrosian and runner-up Jiri Stocek of Czech Republic ended their game in a draw.

According to 8th tour results, Petrosian has 7 points to his score, similar to Georgy Timoshenko of Ukraine and Aleksander Delchev of Bulgaria, yet Armenian contender retains leadership based on tie break results.

Another representative of Armenia, Zaven Andriasyan beat Poland’s Jacek Stopa to climb to the 10th place with 6,5 points.

Karen Movsisian lost his game to go down to the 42nd place with 5,5 points.
