HEAD OF TERRORISTS NAIRI HUNANIAN WRITES POEMS IN JAIL
15.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Nairi Hunanian, the head of terrorists who murdered on October 27, 1999 the Armenian Prime Minister, Speaker of the parliament, 6 deputies and members of the government, writes poems in the cell.
The Armenian "Aravot" daily informs its readers about this fact quoting a member of the Human Rights commission Vardan Haroutyunian who visited Nairi Hunanian on November 13.
Vardan Haroutyunian said that Nairi Hunanian is getting seriously prepared for proceeding and collects statistic data on the social and economic situation in Armenia. According to Haroutyunian "Nairi Hunanian considers himself an ideological fighter who appeared in the jail and continues his fight," member of the Human Rights commission said.
He also informed that Nairi Hunanian and his brother Karen (also member of the group) complained on the actions of the investigation group, stressing that starting from March 2000 no coercion was taken against him. According to Haroutyunian, Karen Hunanian stated that the members of the investigation group have tried to make him testify about complicity of the ex-minister of Interior Affairs Vano Siradeghian to the October 27 act of terrorism. Vano Siradeghian is accused of perpetrating a number of ordered political murders and is wanted now. -0--
