Serj Tankian’s live streamed concert to take place in Yerevan Aug. 14

A free open air live streamed concert of world renowned vocalist of System of a Down Serj Tankian for audience of more than 20 000 will be hosted by Tumo Center for Creative Technologies in Yerevan on August 14 during their grand opening celebration.

Tankian will perform songs from the album Elect The Dead Symphony. 40 musicians from Armenia will emerge at the stage to perform classical music. The conductor of the concert will be Gamish McKish who is invited from Australia.

“The entrance will be free for everyone,” the Director of Deem Communications company Raffi Niziblyan said.

According to Niziblyan, they are working over Tankian’s project for about a year.

Armen Kupelyan, Fujifilm Studios representative noted that, when he heard of Tumo in U.S., he has got an idea of cooperation and this project.

“Although presently Tankian is on tour together with System of a Down, he decided to give a concert in Yerevan,” Kupelyan said.

Fujifilm Studios representative told PanARMENIAN.Net in an interview that the concert will be Live Streamed.

Niziblyan stressed that details of the concert will be notified soon.

Serj Tankian already gave concert in Yerevan in summer 2010, and uniting after breakup System of a Down, in 2011 started its tour over Europe.
