Armenia-U.S. economic cooperation intergovernmental committee sitting due Sept

On July 26, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with the U.S. Charge d'Affaires to the Republic of Armenia Bruce Donahue.

At the meeting, the parties referred to the possibility of receiving technical assistance for population census in Armenia, the memorandum of understanding on energy-related researches, the status of Millennium Challenge Corporation-implemented programs, as well as the reforms underway in different spheres, including progress in anticorruption actions.

The discussion also focused on preparations for the sitting of the Armenian-American intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation due in September, at which the two sides will discuss issues relating to the development and reinforcement of economic ties, governmental press service reported.
