Russia wary of Iran’s unexpected strike

The director of Russian Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies, expert Ruslan Pukhov stated that Gabala radar station may serve as a barrier in a possible attack by Iran.

“Whatever we say, the truth is that Iran is developing the weapon of mass destruction, which could be easily integrated into a missile,” the expert said.

As he noted, a Russia-friendly Iranian regime may crash, without any guarantee for new Iranian authorities not to assume pro-Western and anti-Russian position, considering Iran has reasons to be “offended” with Russia.

No matter how old, Gabala radar station is an operative installation, which does serve as a defensive barrier, Aze.az quoted Pukhov as saying.
