Russian-Italian Marche Fano includes Armenia in World Religions project

Russian journalist-photographer Sergey Polivec announced opening of World Religions international project.

From July 26 to August 9, 2011, in the framework of the project, one of four planned expeditions to Armenia started, including Andrey Gribenyuk, Armen Jagaryan and Sergey Polivec.

The team is in Yerevan for shooting an album Armenia from the cycle of World Religions global international project. The Master and the team will visit historical and spiritually valuable places of Armenia, a state with a-thousand-year history. The meeting with the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II is planned.

Rostov-na-Donu Marche Fano union is the organizer of the photo-project. The goal of the project is to show spirituality, architecture, uniqueness and culture of the world religions through photography.

The project is calculated for 5-7 years and covers all available and known religions of the world. Upon completion of each project a photo album including top professional photos with partners’ logotypes and advertising agencies info will be issued. The project stipulates highlight on orthodox Christianity, catholic Christianity, religion and culture of ancient and contemporary Armenia, on islam, buddhism, iudaism and hinduism.

Large-scale photo-exhibitions are also planned in Europe, U.S., Australia and countries of Asia and East.

The project is being implemented under the aegis of the head of Novonakhichevan and Russian Eparchy of AACh, Bishop Ezras Vartkes Artsruni, People's Artist of USSR Armen Jigarlhanyan, President of international foundation to the memory of A.Babajanyan Ara Babajanyan, and other famous personalities.
