System of a Down, has announced its first ever show in Mexico City on September 28th at Sports Palace, according to the information on the band’s official website.

The dates in South America are lined up as follows: Oct. 01 Sao Paulo, Brazil at Chacara Do Joquei; Oct. 05 Buenos Aires, Argentina at GEBA; Oct. 07 Santiago, Chile at Estadio Bicentenario.

Latin American fans of System of a Down accepted this news with enthusiasm that is proved by numerous notes of thanks on the official website of the band.

Serj Tankian already gave concert in Yerevan in summer 2010, and uniting after breakup System of a Down, in 2011 started its tour over Europe.
