Armenian grandmaster Elina Danielyan was defeated by Hou Yifan of China in round 6 of FIDE Grand Prix series going on in Rostov, Russia.

Danielyan dropped to the 10th place with 2 points. Hou Yifan tops the standings with 4 points, followed by Kateryna Lahno (Ukraine) and Tatiana Kosintseva (Russia).

In round 7, the Armenian GM will face Antuaneta Stefanova of Bulgaria, who is currently 8th with 2.5 points.
