On August 11, Serzh Tankian will start rehearsal for concert dedicated to opening of Tumo center for creative technologies, organizer of the concert, head of Dreem Communications department for organization of special events Mariam Movsisyan told PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

“Nothing is planned these days except for rehearsals. Certainly, Tankian will have spare time as well,” said Movsisyan adding that the musician will not give a press conference in Yerevan, and the details of concert will be made public through press releases.

“Last year we managed to organize a press conference since he was first time in Armenia. In general, Tankian does not give press conferences when on tours. His managers warned us about it,” the organizer said.

Possibly, after the concert, on August 15 another event will take place, during which Tankian will tell us about his public and civic activity. Tankian’s managers have not confirmed this offer yet, according to Movsisyan.

“Considering that Tankian is engaged in public and civic activity as well, we planned very interesting format which I hope will take place on August 15,” said Movsisyan.

The concert in Yerevan is going to be free and open air.

Serj Tankian already gave concert in Yerevan in summer 2010, and uniting after breakup System of a Down, in 2011 started its tour over Europe.
