Lithuania elaborates game strategy against Armenia

After suffering a 2:0 defeat from Lichtenstein on June 3 in UEFA EURO 2012 qualifier, Lithuania wants to taste victory before the rematch due on September 2.

On August 10, Lithuania will have a friendly with Armenia and are anticipating a victory.

“We should try to nail kicks; this is our main goal in the match with Armenians. It will help us train better for the match against Lichtenstein,” delfi.lt cites Raimondas Zutautas, Lithuania coach.

Both teams’ coaches, Vardan Minasyan and Raimondas Zutautas are testing new players. Zutautas does not rule out, that his team will be able to participate in final qualifying stage.

“We have no right to fail any more and must win all matches in the group,” Zutautas said.

Lithuania with 4 points rank 4th in Group I; Europe and World Champion Spain are leader of the group with 15 points.
