Angry Birds, other games available at Google+

Vic Gundotra, Senior Vice President of Google, posted on Google Official Blog that Google is launching games at G+.

“With the Google+ project, we want to bring the nuance and richness of real-life sharing to the web. But sharing is about more than just conversations. We want to make playing games online just as fun, and just as meaningful, as playing in real life,” Gundotra wrote.

To play the Games, users should click the Games button at the top of the stream. There users will see the latest game updates from their circles, browse the invites they have received and check out games that friends have played recently. There are also game accomplishments, so that users can comfortably share latest high scores.

Angry Birds, Monster World, Bubble Island and other games are available. Google says they will look forward to make the Games fully available to everyone in Google+ soon.

Google’s G+ launched on June 28 as the main rival for Facebook and quickly became the hot topic in the social media. It presently has 25 million users. Google+ has also an app for Android devices and a mobile web version.
